Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University was established in 1967 as an expansion of the already existing Kaliningrad State Pedagogical University, which was established in 1947. Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University is a premier educational institution in Russia’s far west. There are 96 professors, 74 of whom have PhDs in Medicine and instruct students in higher education programs. There are 134 international students from countries such as India, Brazil, Mexico, Egypt, and Morocco. Post-graduate education has also been made available at the Institute since 2012, with 14 residency programs and doctor development programs.
